Nesso Araqeli Red Dry Wine Reserve 2015

Nesso Araqeli Select Gold, is aged dry red wine, made from Areni and Kakhet grape varieties cultivated in the Ararat valley. It is aged in Armenian Oak barrels for two years, and it is bottled and rested in cellars for one year.

Armenia’s unique and historically rich terroir allows for crafting wine from the Kakhet grape of varying styles. Kakhet’s terroir-driven and stunningly light aromas of blackberry and blackcurrent, fig and plum are enhanced by black pepper, spices and smoky notes. Kakhet wine has a dark red colour, soft fruit and berry aroma. Kakhet is used for varietal wines as well as in blends with Sev Areni, Haghtanak and other prominent red varietals.

This winery is located in the Yeraskh village located near the ancient Armenian region of Nakhijevan, (currently under Azerbaijani occupation). This exceptional wine is produced by Aniyard in cooperation with Yeraskh Wine-Brandy factory, which has a history of more than 60 years.
