Trinity Khachmeruk Red Wine 2022

The harvest for Khachmeruk Red wine takes place when the grapes reach full ripeness. Syrah and Merlot are harvested in September, while Areni is picked in the second half of October. Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks, followed by an extended maceration period. The wine features an elegant bouquet at ripe dark berries, complemented by notes of black pepper and dark chocolate. On the palate, it presents fine, ripe tannins, refreshing acidity, and a long, lingering finish.

This wine is made from Areni (50%) - Syrah (30%) - Merlot (20%)

Trinity winery started in 2009, when three (hence the name Trinity) enthusiastic and determined wine aficionados decided to step into the mysterious world of wine crafting. Assisted by an equally passionate group of wine growers and winemakers, we established a unique vineyard in the Vayots Dzor Highlands of Armenia in close vicinity of the world's oldest known wine production site, dating back some 6,100 years.

 

Trinity wines are filled with faith, traditions and legends of the Armenian winemakers that will always serve as a beacon for all out undertakings.

 

Pure-hearted approach, readiness to accept and share knowledge and experience informs everything we do in our vineyards - from careful handling and taking care of our grapes to molding wines, whose quality reflects our creed that whatever's in our hearts ends up under the cork.

Trinity Canyon Vineyards was founded by three friends, Andranik Grigoryan, Vahe Baloulian, and Hovakim Saghatelyan, who is also the CEO of the winery. The management team includes executive managers responsible for the agriculture decisions, vinyard practices, schedule, plantations and general maintenance of the vineyard plots. He is advised by the consultant of the company, Jean Lux Isnard, mainly in terms of appropriate application of organic practices. Chief Winemaker, Artem Parseghyan is responsible for all wine production steps from harvest to bottling as well as the determination of grape maturity levels, quantities and vintage schedule.
